The Cincinnati Bengals activated backup running back Samaje Perine off the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.
Perine, 26, was put on the list Oct. 11 and missed last week's contest against the Detroit Lions.
Perine played 61 percent of Cincinnati's offensive snaps in its Week 5 loss to Green Bay while starter Joe Mixon battled an ankle injury. Perine rushed for 59 yards in that contest and caught a touchdown pass out of the backfield. He has 87 rushing yards on the season to go with 54 yards receiving on seven catches.
Perine and offensive lineman Jackson Carman were put on the COVID list on the same day, but the latter returned to play against the Lions. However, Carman left the game in the third quarter from an apparent bout of food poisoning and did not return.
The Bengals (4-2) visit the Baltimore Ravens (5-1) on Sunday.
